There
are many locations throughout South Florida that may have different
populations of fish earlier or later in the year. Most fishing
guides would be in agreement that "fish charts" or "tables" do
not precisely illustrate or forecast these subtleties. For example,
tarpon fishing in January and February can be the best of the
year, but weather reliant and not a "sure thing" like
April, May or June.
Opinions will differ amongst a good number of fishing guides.
I believe your guides knowledge, experience and interest to travel
to and fish different areas will lead to greater success on all
target species throughout our fishery.
